| They learned more because they did it instead of talking about it! My grade seven class in action to do their task outside the classroom. our LESSON is all about the Plant Production. |
Plants production in one's backyard, in boxes, or in cans provides the family with vegetables and fruits. It can also contribute to the income of the family through the sale of fruits and vegetables . Plants also minimize pollution and add beauty to the surroundings. In this PRACTICAL APPLICATION, principles and concepts on the crop production will be applied through actual planting seeds in our school backyard.
happy to say that my grade seven are enjoying this moment and i can see to there action that they are learning because they know how to put soil on the seed box, how to plant the seeds in their seed box. and most of all they know the step by step procedure on planting the seeds. LEARNING BY DOING is one of the educational philosophy which i truly believe in. My student learn better this kind of strategy/philosophy of a teacher. And as a teacher it is my DUTY to share the knowledge of what i have to day and Vice versa they are learning , they can get knowledge from me even though sometimes i feel its limited knowledge but i tried my very best to give the best i can so that at the end of the Day. They will go home with a memorable experience on my class as there TLE teacher.
